Downloading slow or incomplete

I've been having an issue since I resubscribed yesterday where the videos are downloading really slowly, won't start at all, or download partially giving me corrupt video files that end abruptly before they are supposed to.
So far I have tried to download from BB and DBJ.

We had an Apache update done on the server which subsequently caused a problem with downloading large files.
